The Jones Mansion is just three blocks from the downtown area, which bursts with quaint shops, unique historic attractions and delightful eateries at every turn. Whether your interests lie in antiques, handcrafted art or the great outdoors, there’s plenty to do and see in Mineral Point.

Historic places of interest abound and fantastic food can be found no matter what you’re craving. Check out the local brewpub for great sandwiches and homemade root beer or stop in at one of many interesting cafes on High Street for coffee & homemade desserts. Make sure you don’t leave Mineral Point without trying a Cornish pasty - they are a delicious specialty among the local restaurants!

There are seventeen artisan owned galleries downtown. These shops feature some of the most beautiful stained glass, pottery, jewelry, and fine crafts in the Midwest.

If you have extra time, catch a show at the Mineral Point Theatre or get some fresh air and enjoy some of nature’s finest scenery while hiking or bike riding in the area.
